"Turk Isı Dondurma" portrays the survival story of Turks in Australia fighting the anti-Turkish propaganda during the Gallipoli Campaign. The film made its Europe debut during the "Turkish Film Week" in London.

Pianist Fahir Atakoglu played "Canakkale Turkusu" on the shores of the Dardanelles to commemorate the martyrs of the Gallipoli War. He also composed the soundtrack of "Turk Isı Dondurma", based on the real-life story of Turks in Australia.

Writer Meltem Arikan reflects on her two identities, defining her Turkish-speaking, repressed, rigid self as Mel, and having her meet her Welsh-speaking, adventurous, nature-loving self, Tem.
